Rise Again, Government Debt Exceeds IDR 4,478 T

Jurnal Fakta. The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) again recorded government debt in October 2018 to rise to Rp 4,478.57 trillion. Previously in September, government debt in September amounted to Rp. 4,416.37 trillion.
Based on data from the US State Budget released by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday, the government debt as of October 2018 rose by Rp. 62.2 trillion or grew by 1.4% compared to the previous month.

When compared with October 2017, government debt rose by Rp. 584.97 trillion. The position of government debt in October last year was Rp 3,893.60 trillion.
Meanwhile, the component of government debt still comes from loans amounting to Rp 833.92 trillion, while state securities (SBN) amounting to Rp 3,644.65 trillion.

For information, previously the total government debt per September 2018 rose Rp 53.18 trillion to Rp 4,416.37 trillion from the position in August which amounted to Rp 4,363.19 trillion.

Compared to the debt position in the same period in 2017, there was an increase of IDR 549.92 trillion from IDR 3,866.45 trillion to IDR 4,416.37 trillion.
If detailed, the government debt amounting to IDR 4,416.37 trillion consists of loans totaling IDR 823.11 trillion and state securities (SBN) IDR 3,593.26 trillion.

Loans of Rp 823.11 trillion consisted of foreign loans of Rp 816.73 trillion with details, bilateral loans Rp 328.35 trillion, multilateral Rp 440.89 trillion, commercial Rp 45.98 trillion, suppliers Rp 1.52 trillion . While domestic loans amounted to Rp. 6.38 trillion.
